The sluggish demand for memory chips continues to make things difficult for market leader Samsung. The operating profit in the first quarter of 2023 fell by almost 96 percent to probably 600 billion won (regarding 417 million euros), the electronics group from South Korea announced on Friday in its earnings outlook.
