The smart parking project in Qatar is progressing rapidly. Officials stated that smart parking sensors have been installed in 85 percent of the parking areas.

Smart sensors have been installed in 85 percent i.e. 3021 parking spaces. These are established with the joint participation of various ministries and government institutions. This project also has the distinction of being the first digital parking service system in Qatar.
The technology to determine the parking fee will also be developed to facilitate finding the parking space for the driver who is planning to park the vehicle in public spaces. The smart parking service is part of the five smart sectors included in the Smart Qatar Program (TASMU), a plan to transform Qatar into a world-class smart city.
