At TED 2023, the company Humane presented a revolutionary wearable. A first demonstration showed how an AI acts as a personal assistant. The wearable should be a telephone and everyday companion, and it should make smartphones superfluous.
According to “Inverse”, the lecture should be available online from April 22nd. So far, only recordings have been circulating on Twitter.
The humane wearable was carried in the breast pocket during the demo. However, it protruded enough that when making a call, it might project the person’s name onto the palm of the hand.
According to Golem, the wearable also has a translation function. During the demonstration, an English sentence was translated into French. The AI used the voice of the tester. You can communicate with the AI using touch gestures.
The status of the development of the humane wearable and when it will be launched has not been announced. However, there is already a waiting list on the company’s website.
