Muwafi said during his program “My Lord, Increase Me in Knowledge”, broadcast on Sada Al-Balad channel, that smoking cessation patches pose a great danger to the health of the heart, as it leads to an imbalance in its heart rate.

The professor of critical cases added that smoking cessation patches may provide the body with a dose of nicotine that exceeds the permitted rate, which increases pressure on the heart.

And he stressed that the heart rhythm disorder resulting from the smoking cessation stickers may lead to death, warning also of nicotine gum, because it has the same damage.

Mowafi concluded his speech by explaining that the best way to quit smoking is to completely stop drinking cigarettes, and not to gradually reduce the number of cigarettes, adding that in a week, the smoker will feel some annoying symptoms, such as headaches and mood swings, but their effect soon disappears, as soon as the nicotine disappears from the system. the blood.
