A snake bit Lata who was lying on a sheet on the ground in the pay ward. After they made noise, the security staff checked and found the baby viper inside the ward. It is suspected that the snake came from the drain near the pay ward and entered through the gap in the door. Lata was bitten on the hand. After overcoming the danger, they were shifted to the ward.
After the incident of snake bite in the ward, with the help of animal rescuers, they checked different parts of Thaliparamb taluk hospital but could not find any other snakes. The hospital authorities informed that the examination will be conducted in the coming days. The forest around the hospital wards was cleared 2 days ago.
