Snap has unveiled Lens Studio 5.0 Beta, a tool for augmented reality (AR) creators that promises a significant improvement in productivity with “18x faster” loads, according to Snap, for complex AR projects. In partnership with Open AI, a ChatGPT API is now integrated for a more interactive experience, while a 3D face mask generator enables expressive creations. The tool also supports collaboration with version control tools like Git for collective projects. Snap has also expanded Lenses functionality to include virtual items, allowing developers to create business models in their creations. Source
