For the first time in history, Samsung used a Snapdragon platform in all its Galaxy S line devices around the world. The decision was highly praised by experts and users, making the Galaxy S23 generation a great success for the South Korean.
The flagship line uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy platform, an overclocked variant of the chip that was announced as exclusive to Samsung. Apparently, it should also reach other manufacturers soon.
According to the Chinese informant Digital Chat Station, the faster version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform will no longer be exclusive to Samsung cell phones. According to him, several Chinese manufacturers will launch devices with the chip in the second half of this year.
Although the informant does not mention the names of which companies, some names like ASUS, OnePlus, Red Magic and Xiaomi should be among those interested.
