The controllers’ strike in mid-February reignited the debate around their remuneration, giving rise to a new battle of figures between the SNCF and the unions.

Claims about the income of SNCF train controllers multiplied before the strike action over the weekend of February 17-18. They came in particular from the leaders of the railway company. “Over the last two years, controllers have been increased by 500 euros more per month in salary,” said Christophe Fanichet, CEO of SNCF Voyageurs, in the show C à vous, Wednesday February 14.
