During the last board meeting, Thursday December 14, CEO Jean-Pierre Farandou presented the roadmap, fiercely negotiated by the government. By 2027, the SNCF group will have to pay back 5.93 billion euros. In detail, the contribution will amount to 1.7 billion in 2024, 1.35 billion in 2025, 1.28 billion in 2026 and, finally, 1.6 billion in 2027. “These significant amounts require us to generate profits . And there is no mystery, to achieve them, we are counting on the results of SNCF Voyageurs, which themselves depend a lot on those of the TGV,” summarizes an internal source.
