Snow and Rain Forecast: Accumulation and Updates for Belgium’s Ardennes region

2023-11-26 22:54:00

During the day on Monday, the rain-snow limit will gradually rise and it will only snow above 550m. This might lead to an accumulation of 5 to 10 cm of snow in less than 24 hours, mainly above 400-500 m. At lower altitudes, it will be more like 1 to 5 cm.

At the end of the day and Monday evening, it will also rain temporarily on the Ardennes peaks, but in the second part of the night, the rain-snow limit will gradually decrease. Some snowfall in the Ardennes, with a probable accumulation of a few centimeters until Tuesday morning, is also expected. Some slush will also become possible down to low altitudes in the northeastern half of the country.
