A few days before the arrival of spring, The bad weather continues in the United States.
The National Weather Service of the American Union (NWS, for its acronym in English) has put the northeast of the country under alert due to a strong snowstorm that will hit, mainly, the states of New York and New Jersey from the morning of this Tuesday until tomorrow, Wednesday March 15.
“The rain mixes and changes to wet snow today as the low pressure deepens offshore. It is still possible slight accumulation up to shore on grassy surfaces. Wind gusts up to 40-50 mph through tonight.” reads an alert issued by the New York NWS.

In New York and New Jersey are expected up to a foot of snowHowever, due to the combination with the intense winds, Snow accumulation could be felt as heavy as three feet.
“For now, the most likely area of heavy snowfall is in parts of western and northern New England through northern and central New York state.” notes a report of The Weather Channel.
Although the regions of New Jersey and New York are the most affected; Twelve more states are under alert: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Ohio, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont.
It is expected that the storm comes to an end on wednesday, however, the authorities indicate that the prognosis may change depending on how the phenomenon develops.
