A first accident occurred in rue du Chauffour, where a parked car was hit by another car which slipped on one of the bends in the road.
A few moments later, in the other direction, three cars collided in almost the same place in similar conditions. The Jemeppe-sur-Sambre police officers were called to draw up the findings and regulate traffic.
It wasn’t over. On the same road, two trucks then paralyzed traffic following slipping and ending up in a “scissors” situation on a bend. Tractors mobilized for snow removal intervened to pull the heavy goods vehicles from their poor posture.
New hiccup around 6:30 p.m.: traffic became complicated due to a new accident on this axis linking Jemeppe to Spy.
