On Saturday, July 23, 2022, the motorsport club Niklasdorf caused a stir and a lot of fun with a soap box race in the Brandgraben.
NIKLASDORF. “We thought with a soap box race can we for Variety in the events calendar worry,” says the chairman of the MSC Niklasdorf,Wolfgang Kanner. It started in several categories and the children might also compete in a “Bobbycar-Run” give in to the intoxication of speed. The participants came not only from Niklasdorf, but even traveled from Vienna, Mödling, Leibnitz, Hartberg and also from the neighboring district of Bruck an der Mur.

Wolfgang Kanner and his team hope this event also next year to be able to carry out once more and will come up with some ideas in terms of organization. “The track is ideal with its many curves, so we’ll definitely try to be even better next time,” says Wolfgang Kanner, adding: “But now we’re enjoying the great response from the public!”
