Six of Europe’s elite clubs will play friendly matches in the United States of America next July, according to the “Soccer Champions Tour” organizers.
The Spanish giants, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus and Milan, will participate in the eight-match round.
The tour will kick off with a match between Barcelona and Juventus at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco and include the “El Clasico” between Real Madrid and Barcelona at the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys stadium on July 29.
Manchester United’s only match in the round will be against Real Madrid on the 26th of the same month in Houston, while Arsenal will play its only match against Barcelona at the “Sovay” stadium in Los Angeles.
“We are proud to be partnering with the world’s most famous clubs, some of the world’s strongest and most passionate fans, to provide American fans with this rare opportunity to live the experience at the highest level,” said Alan Waxman, CEO and co-founder of Six Street, the tour company that supports the tour.
United and Arsenal play other matches in the United States outside the tour, and are scheduled to face off at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 22.
Arsenal will also play against the MLS All-Star Team in Washington on the 19th of the same month.
