BOCHUM, Germany (Archyde.com) – Dortmund beat Bochum 2-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the German Cup on Saturday.
Dortmund opened the scoring just before the end of the first half with Emre Can scoring a long shot from about 50m. In the 19th minute of the second half, the goal was tied with a penalty kick, but Marco Reus scored the winning goal in the 25th minute. Bochum’s Takuma Asano played the full 90 minutes.
In addition, Düsseldorf (2nd division), in which Aoi Tanaka played the full game, lost 3-5 to Nuremberg (2nd division) in a 1-1 penalty shootout and disappeared from the tournament.
