Social Impact Job: Support Officer – AuRA Region | Ares Group & Log’Ins

by

The Ares Group, a leading social enterprise in France, is seeking a Social and Professional Support Officer for its Log’ins AuRA team. The announcement comes as the organization, founded in 1991, reports €60 million in operational revenue for 2025 and continues its mission of integrating vulnerable individuals into the workforce.

Ares, which operates primarily in Ile-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and Nouvelle Aquitaine, supports the remobilization of 4,500 people annually. The group’s activities span five sectors: logistics, construction, circular economy, digital technology, and vineyards/green spaces. The organization focuses on providing employment and tailored support to individuals facing barriers to work, including the long-term unemployed, recipients of RSA benefits, people with disabilities, and newcomers to France.

LOG’INS, a joint venture created in 2011 with global logistics provider GXO, is a key component of the Ares Group. Log’ins specializes in fine logistics – e-commerce, promotional item logistics, and co-packing – operating from facilities in Villabe (91), Lieusaint (77), and Saint Vulbas (01). In 2025, Log’Ins provided support to over 300 people with disabilities.

The Ares Group’s structure comprises approximately twenty companies and “tremplin” structures, each managed by a social contractor responsible for project implementation and financial sustainability, according to the organization. Ares emphasizes its core values of commitment, kindness, teamwork, trust, and professionalism, and was recognized with a Great Place to Work label in 2022.

Founded on the belief that “no one is unemployable,” Ares aims to restore confidence and autonomy through employment pathways. The organization’s origins trace back to 1991, initially focusing on fostering the integration of individuals facing significant social exclusion. The Veolia Foundation provided grants totaling €90,000 over three years to Ares, recognizing its work in workforce development and social inclusion, with a particular focus on low-skilled trades.

The Ares Group is the foremost group of workforce development agencies in the Île-de-France area, and its work is rooted in a rejection of exclusion and a commitment to the common good. The organization’s activities include supporting over 500 individuals in dire circumstances annually through six social agencies: Ares Services, Ares Atelier, Ares Coop, La Petite Reine, Log’ins, and Ateliers.
