Yverdon transforms its old rails into a “green line”
More than 550 meters of an old industrial line should be changed into a long line of soft mobility right in the center. A seven-year-old project.
The phenomenon of “greenways” which replace old railway lines is spreading to Yverdon. Right in the center, between rue Saint-Roch and the Clendy district, an old connecting road from the end of the 19the century should soon be reassigned to a soft mobility path. A project bordering on the million francs is in any case submitted to the Municipal Council, and proposes to transform some 550 meters of old rails for 2023.
