Ghita Mezzour, Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reforms, inaugurated this new subsidiary in Morocco, in the presence of Christophe Lecourtier, French Ambassador to Morocco and Xavier Vignon, President of the Sogetrel Group.
On this occasion, the Minister visited the premises of Genius Services. During her speech, she declared that “this opening demonstrates enthusiasm for our country, as a privileged destination thanks to its undeniable assets such as its competitiveness, its infrastructure and its pool of quality talent.”
From the construction of communication networks to the integration of intelligent solutions in electronic security or electric mobility, including distribution and support services in IT, Sogetrel Group is at the forefront of the digital transformation of companies and territories. After Belgium and Germany, the installation in Morocco marks a new stage in the international development.
Genius Services will initially offer the business management services that have made Sogetrel’s reputation in France. Relying on the technical expertise of high-level Moroccan technicians, this strategic location in Casablanca will allow Sogetrel Group to strengthen its commitment to quality of service and benefit from Morocco’s dynamic economic environment.
1,000 employees by 2026
This new subsidiary plans to create 500 jobs by the end of 2024, with the prospect of 1,000 employees by 2026. A team of 250 multilingual and experienced support technicians is already in operation supporting Genius Services’ first customers: French telecom and retail companies. They provide a multi-channel user support and back office service, as well as monitoring and planning interventions.
