In the alley of the poplars, in Herve, Sandra and Steven Detaille have chosen to make a concrete gesture of solidarity: ” On the side of my garage, we are going to install all our solidarity action, that is to say a solidarity fridge, a book box and a solidarity pantry. I think what motivated us was that almost two years ago we became a host family. So we welcomed a little child and it changed our lives and gave us another purpose. We said to ourselves that helping our neighbors would be welcome “, explains Steven Detaille.
It will therefore be possible to help yourself, if necessary, but also to deposit. And then a message box will also be installed to serve as a relay to social networks: ” It’s a small mailbox that we’re going to install in this space. It is intended for anyone who has a possible need, whether anonymous or not. She can submit her request and we, via the Facebook page that we created, will transmit this message to try to resolve her problem or satisfy her request. “, he explains.
