February 24, 2023 marked the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine – a democratic state in the heart of Europe. As in many other European cities and towns, the office building of the market town of Altmünster was illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

For a year now, the whole world has been stunned by the war in Ukraine. The market town of Altmünster has already taken a number of actions to help the refugees within the community and also had relief supplies transported to the Ukraine. As a sign of solidarity, the office building was illuminated in the national colors of Ukraine on February 24, 2023. With this, the community wants to set an example against the war.
