The days following the release of new versions of Apple’s operating systems are always dedicated to scrutinizing everything announced.
As usual, the company leaves some functions out of the first versions of new systems — releasing them in later updates. At the iOS 17no iPadOS 17no watchOS 10 e no macOS Sonoma 14this will be no different.
For this reason, in this article we separate some examples of resources that will be released during these versions of operating systems, that is, that will not be available at launch (in versions .0, for example).

NameDrop no watchOS
One of the coolest new features of the new systems is NameDrop, which lets you share your contact or other personal information by bringing your iPhone close to the Apple Watch of the person you want to do it with. However, Apple made it clear that this function will arrive at watchOS 10 later, with an update “at the end of the year”.
Improved AirDrop
A nice novelty in AirDrop will be the possibility to proceed with the transfer of a file using the Internet, even if it is out of reach of the resource and both of you (you and the recipient) are connected to an iCloud account.
According to Apple, the feature will be available later this year.
Diary App

AirPlay on hotel TVs
In selected hotels, it will be possible to connect your devices to the TVs in the rooms to enjoy content during a trip, for example. Apple’s first partner will be IHG Hotels & Resorts, but the feature will also only arrive at the end of the year.
Naturally, as iOS 17 testing progresses, Apple may remove or add new features to this list. So we’ll have to wait until the release of the final version to know (in fact) all the initial news.
