If everyone has to pay ORF contributions from 2024, then they should know what the money will be used for. Media Minister Susanne Raab explains why the ORF must disclose salaries and additional income from 2024. Transparency regarding the use of public funds is not only useful, it is necessary (a freedom of information law would also have to be passed). In the amendment passed on Wednesday, something essential is still missing.
