Perunad: The Perunad police arrested the son in the case of hitting his father on the head for not paying the pension amount. Arun Sathyan (31) was arrested by the Perunad police at Madamon Kotuppara West Charu in Perunad. The attack took place at home on Monday evening.
Police said that Arun had hit his father on the head with a steel cup and he is accused in various cases.
He was produced in court and remanded. Under the leadership of Perunad Police Inspector Rajeev Kumar, SI. Vijayan Thambi, CPOs Vinesh, Sujith and Haridas caught the accused.
