Son-in-law of Doc Rivers, Seth Curry is traded to the Sixers!

In search of shooters, the Sixers had already recovered Danny Green in the early evening, and here they are who get their hands on Seth Curry, holder 25 times this season in Dallas. Stephen’s brother remains on one of his best seasons in his career with 12.4 points per game with a very clean 45.2% at 3-pointers, and to recover it, Philly let go of Josh Richardson and the 36th draft pick, Tyler Bey.

For Dallas, he’s one less shooter to take advantage of Luka Doncic’s shifts, but he’s an additional full-back / winger, good defender, and more comfortable in the fast and transition game. It’s a win-win, even if the deal seems more important for the Sixers who managed to part with two big contracts recovered last year, Al Horford and Josh Richardson. Daryl Morey has already struck, by spreading the game around Joel Embiid as much as possible.

For the record, Seth Curry is the son-in-law of Doc Rivers… who had already had his son, Austin, under his orders.
