Broadcaster Mina Son mourned the late Heo Cham who passed away. The two have a special relationship with each other as MCs in ‘Family Recreation Center’.
Son Mina wrote on her Instagram on the 1st, “It’s been such a sad news since the first day of the new year. I am so embarrassed and sad that Teacher Heo Cham passed away.”
He couldn’t hide his sorrow, saying, “I recently appeared on a TV show together and saw him singing with a strong voice, and he held my hand tightly and told me to call as soon as I could buy you something delicious, but the day this photo was taken will be the last.
Son Mina said, “Mr. Heo Cham has been broadcasting every week for nearly 6 years, and has been a close friend of mine. She is my role model who has shown an exemplary appearance as a broadcast host since my first year as an announcer. Outside the studio, she is kind and funny. It was the same person,” he remembered the deceased.
He continued, “The best pathetic wife I know, a person who is united with loyalty and affection, a thorough, humble and sincere professional who always arrives first to prepare a script even though the same broadcast has been aired every week for over 25 years, and even juniors and junior staff with kindness and respect. A person with a character who treated him as a person, a person who had the soul and innocence of a young man regardless of age and age. Above all, he valued his work and viewers the most in the world. Giving others a smile was his joy. He was a person who was not completely out of line and was human, and to me, he was like an eternal cheerleader who always gave me the best compliments and gave me strong support.”
Son Mina said, “When we met a few months ago, I should have contacted you right away and made time to sit face to face, but I regret that I postponed it by saying, ‘When I get a little warmer’.”
He continued, “I was truly grateful to be able to broadcast together, to receive the teacher’s love and instruction, to enjoy that kindness and unusual sense of humor up close, to be able to maintain a long-term friendship and be between seniors and juniors who give each other strength. “He prayed for the well-being of the deceased.
Heo Cham passed away that day while battling liver cancer. 73 years old. The burial place of the deceased was prepared at the funeral hall of Asan Medical Center in Seoul, and the funeral will be held on the morning of February 3.
