In the middle of last year, we talked about the launch of SongCapsule Quizapp from the Brazilian company Sorcererhat which brings back the iPod music quiz experience with a very well-built interface and perfect integration with Apple Music.
Originally, the app required a one-time purchase of R$50; now, available in version 1.1you can download it for free and enjoy a series of quizzes at no cost.
With the new feature, a subscription was also launched Deluxewhich unlocks the ability to test your musical knowledge with any playlist available on Apple Music — including your own — as well as challenge your friends (with Game Center support) to beat your scores.
All challenged players face a quiz with the same music options — which allows “a direct comparison of each answer to see who guessed correctly and faster”.
Although a subscription is required to send a challenge, all other players (those being challenged) can play it freely with the free version of the app, which has already been updated. is available on the App Store.
A monthly subscription to the Deluxe plan costs just R$10but it can also be purchased annually (R$40) or through a one-time purchase of R$50. Anyone who had already purchased the app through a one-time purchase will automatically be migrated to the lifetime subscription, the value of which is corresponding. 😉
