Sega has just revealed the sales figures for the latest adventure of its blue mascot! Sonic Frontiers reportedly sold over 2.5 million copies in its first month on the market! To compare, Sonic Maniathe franchise’s previous hit, sold one million units in its first year.
This result is all the more surprising given that Sonic Frontiers has seriously divided critics and gamers (our test). But its very public nature, as well as massive reductions during Black Friday, surely helped a lot. Sonic Team has already announced the arrival of three free expansions for 2023. Including a photo mode, scripted elements and new challenges! And until then, a pack stamped Christmas will land on December 21!
