Released in July 2022, Sonic Origins was supposed to be the ultimate edition of the classic installments released on Megadrive. Long-time fans were jubilant, ready to get their hands on the ultimate edition of legendary titles, complete with more modern bonuses. Except that everything does not necessarily go as we would like in the best of worlds. The compilation was a flop for Sega, with bugs galore, missing music and rickety content for the price offered. The publisher took it for his rank, and therefore decided to review his copy with a Sonic Origins Plus freshly announced on Xbox for June 23rd!
Sonic Origins Plus will take over the full original game, minus the bugs, and add a plethora of content! Knowing that three editions will be offered: Physical, Digital and extension only (if you already have Sonic Origins).
Content of the digital edition :
- The main game
- 12 Game Gear games included in the museum
- Classic Amy playable in Sonic 1-2 and 3, as well as Sonic CD
- All downloadable content already available in Sonic Origins
- Knuckles playable in Sonic CD
To which will be added a reversible cover and new illustrations in the form of an artbook in the physical version.
For prices, count €39.99 for the full game in demat or physical, and €9.99 for the extension.
