Sonora Health System joins IMSS Welfare, confirms Governor Durazo

Mexico City.- The government of Sonora signed an agreement with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) so that the entity’s health centers, which provide care to the open population, join the IMSS Well-being program, reported Alfonso Durazo.

The governor of the state explained that in this way the Social Security will be responsible for the incorporation of more personnel to the health centers, as well as the equipment and timely supply of medicines.

“We are 10 or 11 states that have already signed the agreement, the program has already started in a stellar way in Nayarit and I hope that Sonora is one of the following states, because that will allow us to guarantee medical care,” said the state president interviewed in Mexico City.
