Sony, Canon and Nikon offer gifts for camera and lens registration

Sony, Canon, and Nikon are running a coordinated push to get buyers to register their cameras and lenses as genuine products, with each manufacturer offering a choice of free gifts for customers who complete registration on its homepage. The promotions, compiled in a shopping feature by Korean price-comparison site Danawa, require purchasers to buy an eligible product, register it as genuine, and then separately apply for the event to receive a gift.

Sony’s gift lineup spans bags, tripods and batteries

Sony’s options include the Wondrd PRVKE 31L pocket photo bundle backpack and the Benro S6 MaxPro tripod CMC25PVH501, each valued at roughly 550,000 won, or the Sony BC-ZD1 dual battery charger at about 165,000 won. Other tiers offer the Leofoto Mister Y carbon tripod (about 279,000 won), the F-stop Long Road tote backpack 18L (about 259,000 won), the Sony NP-FZ100 battery (about 85,000 won) or NP-SA100 battery (about 149,000 won), a Pexar 2K high-resolution digital photo frame (about 229,000 won), and smaller items such as the Leofoto Backup Sling Bag 11L, the F-stop Light 16L backpack, and an F-stop CFexpress card reader case.

Buyers purchasing three or more eligible Sony items must verify the purchase through Sony Korea’s customer center at 1588-0911 and may need to provide documentation.

Canon tiers its rewards by model

Canon’s promotion lets buyers pick one benefit per tier, ranging from a 200,000 won mobile gift certificate or a Lexar SD 1667x SDXC UHS-II 256GB card (about 240,000 won) down to a 60,000 won certificate paired with a Canon LP-E17 battery (about 30,000 won), a F-stop camera strap, a SmallRig Canon R50V leather half case, or a Lexar SD Professional Silver Plus 128GB card. Mid-tier options include 150,000, 100,000, and 80,000 won certificates alongside Canon LP-E6P batteries, HG-1000TBR and EG-E1 grips, and LC-E17E chargers. Purchases of the EOS R8 Mark II qualify only from October 20 onward.

How to qualify and when the window closes

To receive a gift, customers must purchase an eligible product between October 15 and December 31, 2026, complete genuine registration by January 7, 2027, and finish a separate event application that is approved. Each ID can apply only once per camera or lens model, kit products count as a single registration, and purchase receipts must be submitted by January 7, 2027 if requested.

Questions about the event will be accepted only until one month after it closes.
