TOKYO, 12 April. /TASS/. The Japanese corporation Sony is investing regarding $1 billion in the American gaming company Epic Games. This is stated in a statement published on Tuesday on the corporation’s website.
“Thanks to these investments, we expect to expand and deepen cooperation [с Epic Games] to find opportunities that will lead to the creation of new values in the field of entertainment, ”Sony emphasizes in a message.
Epic Games is the developer of one of the most popular Fortnite games to date.
