For PS Plus subscribers, the year 2024 is off to a great start! Sony offers a real treasure of French video games: A Plague Tale: Requiem. Available from January, this masterpiece joins the impressive list of games accessible “for free” on PS5. He is not the only one.

A narrative gem offered on PS5
Developed by Asobo Studio, A Plague Tale: Requiem made a notable release in 2022 thanks to its poignant story and careful artistic direction. It immerses players in a medieval France ravaged by the plague. You play Amicia, a teenager forced to flee and protect her younger brother Hugo, plagued by a curse linked to the Black Death.
That’s it for the basics. And for this second opus, the story picks up a few months after the events of the first game. You find Amicia and her younger brother. In the midst of the Hundred Years’ War, they are joined by their friend Lucas and their mother Beatrice, on a quest across the south of France and the fictional island of La Cuna.

In addition to Plague TaleSony enriches its PS Plus offering with Evil Westan action-adventure game where you play as Jesse, a vampire hunter who has a range of weapons to defeat these enemies: flamethrower, electric glove, pistol… In short, don’t Don’t expect to find any garlic or stakes there.
The other game entering PlayStation Plus in January is none other than Nobody Saves the World, a unique action-RPG. As well in the artistic direction which makes one think of the excellent Don’t Starve Together than in its gameplay.
