O Project Q will be a portable summer of PlayStation 5 when it is officially released. At least, that’s the description that Microsoft’s lawyers added to one of the court documents in the trial between the Federal Trade Commission, Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.
Who noticed this detail was the user Stephen Totilo (@stephentotilo) and he published on his profile on twitter an excerpt from the document with the aforementioned description, referring to the Sony device as a portable version of its desktop console, which was announced last month and will be priced below 300 dollars (BRL 1,429 in direct conversion).
Despite the curious fact, the description made regarding the device is not very accurate, since the product focuses on gaming through the Remote Play feature. That is, this “portable console” will not be able to run the games on its own and needs the larger version to be connected at all times.
Even so, other details regarding this item are not known, in addition to part of its technical specifications, which include an 8-inch 1080p resolution screen. In addition, the model will have the same functions as the Dual Sense controller, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
A few days following the announcement of the product, it was revealed that the console will have a battery life of just three hours. But only with real tests will it be possible to confirm this information. The Project Q price will be quite high if it is what was quoted in the document. As for the launch, the manufacturer has already stated that it will take place later this year.
