With its new Sony ZV-1F, the japanese manufacturer intends to propose a digital camera which will be further exploited as camera for the vloggers or any other user. A device equipped with a 20 mm very wide-angle fixed focal length lens ideal for selfies.
Sony is one of the market leaders in terms of image and sound. The brand excels both in the consumer sector and in the world of professional audiovisual. This time the brand offers a product that comes to position itself a little between the two markets with functions that according to it should appeal to all vloggers.
With this New Xperia 5 IV, Sony is offering a brand new top of the range that should certainly appeal to brand aficionados, but also to other smartphone users.
Sony ZV-1F, a portable camera or a camera?
If at first glance, the product is reminiscent of an APN (digital camera), it seems that the Japanese manufacturer has decided to orient it like a camera. A digital box that weighs only 230 grams and is equipped with a 20 mm very wide angle fixed focal length lens.
This Vlog camera also incorporates a whole range of features such as support for the bokeh effect, in both photo and video. It also offers a feature that Sony calls “Soft Skin Effect”, which softens and reduces wrinkles when shooting and provides a natural skin tone in photos.
The system also features Eye AF so that it automatically focuses on people. The Sony ZV-1F is also equipped with an image stabilization system in Active mode (electronic) to avoid having “shaky” videos.

The Sony ZV-1F also incorporates the S&Q mode to film both in 5x slow motion and in 60x accelerated time-lapse, in order to obtain the desired effect.
Besides photos and videos, high-quality sound is essential for perfect content. The built-in three-capsule directional mic and windscreen ensure clear voice recording and low noise outdoors, even in strong winds.
The Sony ZV-1F also has a self-timer and a recording light. In addition, it has a touch screen. Finally, an interesting detail, this Sony ZV-1F has a Wi-Fi connection so it will be possible to transfer videos or photos directly to your Live via your smartphone or to a cloud.

The new ZV-1F will be available at the end of October 2022 at retailers for a recommended retail price of €650.
