Slowly but surely, WhatApp has given us many updates this year with features that are quite appreciated, and another one will come soon, especially for those who want to hide their statuses in the messaging application.
turns out from WABetaInfo warn since the beta version v2.22.16.12 for Android brings us the option to hide not only our last seen status, but also our online status, either for all or some contacts.
As we can see in the image, we will be able to hide our online status from whoever we want, be it everyone, or that our contacts can only see it, or just one or two users if we add exceptions.
As usual, the feature is just in a Beta state, so we will have to wait to see it in the stable version for both Android and iOS. But at least we already know what is going to come to the application next.
