Cow Tecmo unveiled a statuette honoring Sophie Neuenmullerthe heroine of the video game Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book.
Sculpted in 1/7 scale for a height of approximately 22.5cm, this figurine in plastic is a faithful reproduction of an original NOCO illustration, and features Sophie wearing her “Everyday” outfit in a scene from her daily life as she dreams up new alchemy recipes.
Sophie’s blue-green coat and backpack have been meticulously sculpted and painted to the finest detail. Even the letters written in the recipe book held in her hand were captured. The creation of Sophie’s playful expression was overseen by character designer, NOCO.
This figurine is expected to be released in a little over a year, in October 2023. It is available for pre-order at the manufacturer price (excluding shipping and customs) of 33,000 yen, which comes to regarding 230 € at present.
