‘D50’ is Dhanush’s second directorial venture produced by Sun Pictures.

NoVishnu Vishal backed out of the film with Ton Dhanush. Vishnu’s withdrawal from the Dhanush-directed film tentatively titled D50. Vishnu Vishal responded that Dhanush decided not to do the film due to the busyness of other films and he is sad that he might not be a part of this film.
‘D50’ is Dhanush’s second directorial venture produced by Sun Pictures. With Dhanush, S.J. Suriya and Vishnu Vishal were supposed to play the lead roles. Vishnu Vishal has now withdrawn from this partnership. The actor responded to India Today that ‘D50’ was a film he had to do and that he withdrew because he had to complete some other films.
When asked regarding Dhanush’s reaction when he said that he is not doing ‘D50’, this was Vishnu’s reply. “It’s sad that we can’t do a Dhanush film. But I’m sure we can share the screen with Dhanush another time. Dhanush is very understanding”.
Lal Salaam directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth is Vishnu Vishal’s completed film. Vikrant is another important character in the film. The film also features Rajinikanth in a cameo role as Moideen Bhai. Music – AR Rahman, Cinematography – Vishnu Rangasamy, Editor – Praveen Bhaskar.
