South Korea woke up this morning to gray weather. Except in Ulsan where the sun deigns to peek out, gray clouds and rain dominate the entire territory. A few flakes can be seen in the north-eastern quarter of the country, when you move away a little from the coast.
In the metropolitan region, we expect 5°C when we wake up. It is 8°C in Mokpo in the southwest of the peninsula and in Busan, which is patiently awaiting the results of the vote to organize the World Expo. The southern island of Jeju recorded a milder mercury, reaching 13°C.
But this little Monday morning depression won’t last. This afternoon, the sky will gradually open up to allow some clearing. Take your umbrella anyway, showers are still expected. In the Daegu region, you will have to be patient: even if the temperatures will soften to reach 14°C, the weather will remain gloomy.
This afternoon, the mercury will climb higher than this weekend, with 10°C in Seoul, 12°C in Daejeon and Gwangju, and up to 17°C in Busan or Jeju.
