Soviet Ranger – a forgotten competitor of Niva and UAZ

The SUV itself was not distinguished by sophistication: rough shapes, simple round headlights, external hinges, even the windshield was suitable for installation in the tailgate. But following the UAZ-469, the Ranger attracted attention with some kind of novelty, a kenguryatnik and branded stickers.

The interior of the car was small, but pleased with the high ceiling. Tolerable comfort was provided at the front: here the doors even had door cards, but while staying on the back sofa, thin and flat, the elbows of the passengers rested on the bare sidewalls of the body.
