Johann Vollmann has been researching soya for over 30 years. “The soybean is an ambivalent plant. It is a climate killer and a beacon of hope at the same time. As one of the reasons for the deforestation of the rainforest, it is the culprit. As a food, it is part of the solution and a key to the nutritional transition.” From June 18th to 23rd, all aspects of it will be the focus of the World Soybean Congress in Vienna.
