Space specialist, Farah Alibay will don the coveted Star Fairy costume.

The aerospace engineer will accompany Santa Claus, his elves and more than 400 colorful characters during the 71st edition of the parade.
“I find that there is really a beautiful link between being the Star Fairy and my everyday work which is precisely to look at the stars,” said Farah Alibay, in a video presented during the press conference unveiling details of the event on November 25.
From 11 a.m., the procession of 13 allegorical floats will travel along René-Lévesque and Robert-Bourassa boulevards as well as Saint-Catherine Street West. A performance by Petites Tounes will close the party.
The next day, the parade will be presented on TVA at 4 p.m. Pascal Morrissette, Julie Ringuette and Mathieu Dufour will host this special show.
