What happened
Musk made these comments in response to a tweet regarding the explosion that occurred during tests of the Super Heavy Booster 7 in the facilities of SpaceX of Boca Chica (Texas).

Earlier, Musk had told the software engineer and livestream producer Michael Baylor that the incident was planned. Baylor said Musk deleted the tweet where he said it was planned and later corrected it.

Last month, Musk said that the first countdown to launch SpaceX’s Starship rocket might take place in July.
Starship uses the Super Heavy booster rocket and is powered by state-of-the-art engines called Raptors. The Super Heavy is the first stage of the space vehicle, while the Starship is the second.

It’s unclear what caused the explosion, according to Insider. However, Musk’s latest tweet does not bode well for the planned timeline of Starship’s first countdown. His plan is to manufacture more than mil Starships to transport humans to Mars and the vehicle is critical to their plans to populate the red planet.
