Spanish Artistic Swimming Team Dominates European Games with Gold Medal Win

Madrid, June 25 The Spanish artistic swimming team won the gold medal that Sunday in the free final, the last test of the program of this sport at the European Games in Krakow (Poland).

The Spanish women add their gold to the one already won by themselves in the technical routine and to the two medals of the mixed duet, gold in the free and silver in the technical exercise.

With 261.6374 points, the members of the Spanish team prevailed with a wide margin of 8.1665 over Italy and 18.0373 over Israel.

The team is made up of Cristina Arambula, Berta Ferreras, María García, Meritxell Más, Alisa Ozhogina, Paula Ramírez, Sara Saldaña, Iris Tió and Blanca Toledano.

Spain finished first in the artistic swimming medal table in Krakow, with three golds and one silver, ahead of Austria and Italy. EFE
