The Spanish company active in the construction and engineering sectors, Obrascon Huarte Lain SA (OHL), has signed new licenses for the use of its technological innovation, the “Cubipod”, in the Moroccan ports of Casablanca and Dakhla Atlantic.
“Cubipods with a maximum capacity of 15 tons are planned for the construction of the port of Dakhla Atlantique, the new maritime infrastructure of the Kingdom, with more than 4.5 km of embankment dikes”, indicates, Thursday, the Spanish company in a press release. In the case of the port of Casablanca, Cubipods with a maximum capacity of 55 tons will be used as part of the extension of this maritime infrastructure, which includes the extension of the breakwater by 400 meters, specifies OHL.
“The company thus continues to progress in the marketing of this innovative and durable element for the construction of bank protection covers, through its subsidiary specializing in maritime works, SATO”, details the same source.
