BARCELONA (AP) — Spanish prosecutors have filed a lawsuit once morest Luis Rubiales for sexual assault and coercion for kissing a soccer player on the lips without her consent following the Women’s World Cup final, the prosecutor’s office announced Friday.
Rubiales, the now suspended president of the Spanish Football Federation, kissed Jenni Hermoso on the lips during the medal ceremony following Spain defeated England in the World Cup final on August 20 in Sydney, Australia.
