Spar Colruyt Group decided on Thursday, in consultation with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), to withdraw the “Singapore Noodles” noodles of the Spar brand from sale due to the presence of the allergen ” shellfish” not mentioned on the label.
The recall concerns 450 gram trays belonging to batches from 21423 4:32 p.m. to 21423 5:10 p.m. inclusive and displaying the use-by date 12/06/2023, as well as the barcode 05400210073378. This product was sold in Spar Colruyt stores Group from 05/24/2023 to 05/31/2023 inclusive.
Customers who have purchased this product and who are allergic to shellfish are asked not to consume it and to return it to the store, where they will be reimbursed. On the other hand, the noodles do not present any danger for consumers who do not suffer from an allergy to molluscs.
