The Syrian artist, Ammar Al-Deek, released a new song a few days ago, entitled “Habib Albi”, on his official YouTube channel, written and composed by Ziad Jadid, and directed by Rabih Youssef.
Ammar Al-Deek talked about the song’s echoes through a special statement to “Al-Fan” website and said: “The singer’s initial feeling that his song is heading upward is a very wonderful feeling. And about whether he consults his two brothers, the artists Hussein and Ali Al-Deek, before releasing any song because he is from an artistic family, or is the relationship between them official in the field of work, he replied, saying: “My relationship with Ali and Hussein is a pure and sincere relationship, being my two brothers, it is certain that honesty is an essential thing in dealing with each other. Add to this their technical expertise, and their opinion becomes very important to me, so before any lyrical work I intend to present, they are my first destination, although I have experience in selection due to my artistic age, but their opinion remains audible to me because it contains a mixture of honesty and experience at the same time. And because I know that my success is as important to them as their success.”
And about his opinion about the debate that took place a few days ago due to the statements of the journalist Nidal Al-Ahmadiyeh, which negatively affects the Syrians, he said: “I do not think that there is a Syrian who loves his country or a Lebanese who has a conscience and humanity who has not felt hurt by the words of the journalist Nidal Al-Ahmadiyeh, because it is an insult to the goodness of Lebanon and the pure and pure relations between The two peoples, I do not want to refute her words or talk about the true face of Syria that she is unable to see, but I want to ask the media and media people not to be partners in the strained relations and not to allow fanatical opinions to appear on their platforms, there is a big difference between freedom of expression and aggression against others Especially with sensitive things that affect dignity. Honestly, I did not want to talk about the matter because it had received sufficient responses and criticisms from the people of its country, but your question provoked my jealousy for my country, my jealousy for Lebanon, and my jealousy for our pure relationship with each other.
Ammar concluded, speaking about his projects, indicating that he is preparing for a distinguished work during the summer of 2023, in addition to many concerts in Syria, Lebanon and other Arab countries.
