Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Post Office of Paraguay (Dinacopa), through its Philatelic Advisory Department, puts into circulation, this Wednesday, October 2, 3,000 units of stamps called “IV Latin American Games of Special Olympics 2024”.
The IV Latin American Games of Special Olympics will take place in Asunción from October 4 to 12. The competition will welcome nearly 1,400 athletes with disabilities and unified teammates from 19 Latin American countries and 4 guests: Germany, Belgium, Spain and the Island of Bonaire.
On the postage stamps you can see the logo of the Latin American Games and on the rest of the plate you can see the mascot Tami and the icons of the 14 sports disciplines that will be in dispute.
The printing of the stamps was authorized by decree of the Executive Branch number 1410, of March 21, 2024. The stamps have a single face value of G. 4000 and can now be purchased at the headquarters of the Paraguayan Post Office, located at Alberdi 130 and Benjamín Constant, from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
