“ Spice and Wolf merchant meets the wise wolf ” 1st PV
The completely new anime “Spice and Wolf merchant meets the wise wolf” will be broadcast in 2024. The first PV and concept visual have been released. Passione is in charge of animation production. The cast includes Jun Fukuyama as Kraft Lawrence and Ami Koshimizu as Holo.
“Spice and Wolf” is a light novel written by Isuna Hasekura and published by KADOKAWA Dengeki Bunko, and won the silver prize at the 12th Dengeki Novel Grand Prize. In 2021, the series will celebrate its 15th anniversary, and as the finale project, this completely new animation project was announced.
The PV uses a lot of scenes of Lawrence and Holo’s symbolic meeting and expressive Holo cuts to express the journey of the peddler and the wolf.

I’m Jun Fukuyama, who plays Lawrence.
I never thought that I would play Lawrence in another animated series.
Moreover, until I received the script, I thought it was a sequel, so I was honestly surprised when I read it.
Even though it is such a project, as long as I have been given the opportunity again, I will do as much as I can while keeping in mind the times.

Synopsis
A young peddler, Kraft Lawrence, spends his days selling goods from town to town with a horse that pulls a wagon as his partner.
One day, he visits a small village with golden wheat fields and meets a beautiful girl with ears and a tail.

Holo, who calls herself a “wise wolf,” was the incarnation of the wolf that governs fertility.
Hearing her wish to return to her hometown, Yoitsu Forest, which should be in the far north, Lawrence and Holo become companions on a business trip heading north.
