Unveiled last year, almost to the day, Splatoon 3 has finally found itself an exit window during the last Nintendo Direct : summer 2022. For the occasion, Nintendo unveiled new images of the new version the co-op mode the online shooter : the Salmon Run.
On paper, the Salmon Run Next Wave from Splatoon 3 is not much different from that the Splatoon 2 : a group of 4 inklings must survive to incessant hordes of Salmonoids and securing eggs on behalf of an obscure employer. The better the catch, the better the reward, but salmonoid egg fishing is anything but a fun part.
Without going into details, this new version the Salmon Run mode should enjoy content enrichment, as of new bosses and dangers that will slow down your productivity, as well as new mechanics that it will be necessary to learn to master as a team, as the opportunity to do without the precious egg.
Between an ambitious new story mode and an enriched competitive mode, the co-op mode Salmon Run Next Wave should complement rather well the Splatoon 3 experience, now expected to this summer on Nintendo Switch.
